ELD Catheters

The Spiegelberge ELD catheters (external lumbar drainage) are used for CSF drainage during treatment. External lumbar drainage is used to treat CSF fistulas, to perform invasive diagnostic evaluation of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), and to reduce the risk of spinal cord ischaemia during thoracoabdominal aortic surgery. The Spiegelberg external Silverline® lumbar drainage catheters have a special silver additive that reduces the possibility of microbial colonisation of the surface of the device. The kit includes Tuohy needle, Luer-Lock connector and a slotted suturing attachment.
